BTS ARMY is all set to welcome a BTS comeback, but recent events have sparked rumours of delays amongst the fans. A recent statement from BTS’ agency’s CFO adds fuel to the fire amid rumours.

Company’s annual shareholder meetingHYBE’s annual general shareholders' meeting was held on March 31. Officials from the company attended the event and shared information regarding the company’s future as well as the group’s activities. In response to a query with regards to projected sales of the group after their return, the company’s Chief Financial Officer Lee Kyung Joon provided a statement saying, "We are still in the process of discussing the group's promotion plans for 2026. Therefore, we do not have any projections laid out at this time."

The statement directly talking about next year’s plans directed fans into thinking that BTS may not be having any group activities together this year. It also entailed that the comeback may have been delayed to next year, as reported by Pinkvilla.

Solo activities of current membersBeyond the CFO’s statement, recently Jin also announced the release of his solo mini-album ‘Echo’ as well as his first solo tour that is set to start in June 2025 after the release of the album. The tour will have 18 dates, spanning across Korea, Japan, and even London, and will end directly in August, making the idol’s schedule jam-packed. This also made fans think that a comeback and reunion might not be in the cards for BTS in 2025 as of right now.

Military Service and Current ProjectsAs of right now, only two members of BTS, Jin and J-Hope, have completed their military enlistment. The rest of the members of BTS, namely Jungkook, V, Jimin, RM, and Suga, are all presently finishing their services. All of the members are said to complete their mandatory services by July 2025.
