Tata Panch became a ray of hope in TATA's falling cell, a drastic drop in sales of other models

Obnews Automobile Desk: The country's major automobile company Tata Motors, which sells from petrol, diesel, CNG to electric cars, seems to be lagging behind in sales figures. The start of FY 2024-25 was not good for the company, as almost all its popular models have seen a tremendous decline.

Tata's Portfolio includes Tiago, Tigor, Ultraz, Panch, Nexon, Harrier, Safari and recently launched Curve, but there are only one of these cars that have saved the company's credibility.

Models like Ultrose, Tigor, Harrier declined in sale

Tata Altroz ​​sales fell by 50%. While 70,162 units were sold in FY 2023-24, in FY 2024-25 it declined to 35,187 units.

  • Tata Tigor's sale fell 39% to 16,499 units, which was 26,921 last year.
  • Tata Harrier's sales fell 23% to 18,958 units.
  • Tata Tiago sales also declined by 19% and were reduced to 69,234 units.
  • Tata Safari's sale fell 9% to 20,034 units.
  • Tata's most popular car Nexon also could not survive the fall and its sales fell 5% to 1,63,088 units.
  • Tata Curve was launched in this financial year itself and its sale has been recorded at 34,019 units.

Tata Panch hopes for company

While the sale of the rest of the models declined, Tata Punch did relief for the company. This micro SUV has a growth of 16% in the sale. FY 2024-25 sold 1,96,572 units, which were 1,70,076 units last year.
