Obnews Automobile Desk: The country's major automobile company Tata Motors, which sells from petrol, diesel, CNG to electric cars, seems to be lagging behind in sales figures. The start of FY 2024-25 was not good for the company, as almost all its popular models have seen a tremendous decline.
Tata's Portfolio includes Tiago, Tigor, Ultraz, Panch, Nexon, Harrier, Safari and recently launched Curve, but there are only one of these cars that have saved the company's credibility.
Tata Altroz sales fell by 50%. While 70,162 units were sold in FY 2023-24, in FY 2024-25 it declined to 35,187 units.
While the sale of the rest of the models declined, Tata Punch did relief for the company. This micro SUV has a growth of 16% in the sale. FY 2024-25 sold 1,96,572 units, which were 1,70,076 units last year.
