Volkswagen: Volkswagen is planning to launch several premium cars in India and that too this year. According to several reports, the company can launch Golf GTI and Tyrone in India in 2025. VW GOLF is a popular premium hatchback offered by GTI company and enthusiasts in India are eagerly waiting for its arrival in the country. This hatchback is currently in its eighth generation and is rumored to bring its GTI version to India. We hope that this car will come in India as CBU/CKD.

Talking about the specification of VW GOLF GTI MK 8.5, the car has an EA888 LK3 EVO4 engine. The engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged direct injection petrol unit connected with Quick-Shifting 7-speed DSG. The engine generates 261hp and 370Nm output. In the case of acceleration, the car can hold a speed of 0 to 100 km/h in only 5.9 seconds while its maximum speed is limited to 250 km/h. It will get 18-inch wheels in the 'Richmond' design and there will be many premium features inside.

The company is also bringing VW Tayron in India and it is expected that it will come in CKD form. This SUV will be given a 2.0-liter petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 150kw and torque of 320nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.

Volkswagen Tyrone is expected to get a kick-activated power tailgate with 18-inch alloy wheels. The cabin is expected to get a 10-point massage function, 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 30-cumble-ambient system, head-up display, three-zone automatic climate control system and more.
