India’s top fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) powerhouse, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), is gearing up to release its Q4 FY25 financial results this week. Backed by LIC and known for its investor-friendly moves, the company is also expected to announce another dividend after its whopping 2900% payout in Q2 FY25, keeping shareholders and market watchers on high alert.
As per an official exchange filing, HUL has confirmed that its Board of Directors will meet on Thursday, April 24, 2025, to consider and approve the audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the January–March 2025 quarter and the full financial year ending March 31, 2025.
The company also stated that it would host an earnings conference call post the announcement on the same day.
Apart from unveiling the Q4 numbers, HUL’s board will also consider and recommend a final dividend, if any, for FY25. Investors are particularly hopeful given the company’s impressive 2900% dividend payout in Q2 FY25, which translated into ₹29 per equity share (Face value of ₹1).
This substantial payout highlights HUL’s consistent focus on rewarding shareholders and its strong cash generation capability, despite macroeconomic headwinds.
A subsidiary of global giant Unilever, HUL is India’s largest FMCG company with a vast portfolio spanning Home Care, Personal Care, Beauty & Wellbeing, and Foods & Refreshments. Its products reach consumers in over 190 countries, with iconic brands such as Dove, Surf Excel, Lux, Pond’s, and Lipton under its belt.
LIC, one of India’s biggest institutional investors, continues to hold a significant stake in HUL, further solidifying confidence among retail and institutional investors alike. As quarterly results season picks up, HUL’s Q4 performance and dividend decision are expected to set the tone for other FMCG majors and blue-chip companies.
