Seoul Apartment Fire Kills 3, Injures 11 In Flamethrower Attack, Suspected Arsonist Found Dead

A fire broke out early Monday morning at a 21-story apartment complex in
Bongcheon-dong,
Gwanak District, southern
Seoul, resulting in multiple deaths. According to
Korea JoongAng Daily, authorities suspect arson as the deceased, believed to be a man in his 60s, was found dead on the fourth floor and is said to have started the blaze with a flamethrower.
According to AZ Intel, at least 3 are dead, while 11 others are injured after a man set fire to an apartment building with a flamethrower in Seoul,
South Korea.
"The fingerprints of the burnt body found in the hallway on the fourth floor seem to confirm that it belongs to the suspected arsonist," a police official said, as quoted by Korea JoongAng Daily.
The report further said that emergency services later responded to calls reporting "a fire following an explosive sound."
