From April 22 to 30, a group of travel industry experts from the US, UK, Germany, and Australia will travel across Uttar Pradesh and take in its various tourist attractions. The goal of this familiarisation trip, which is being organised by the UP Eco tourist Development Board, is to promote the state’s tourist potential to a worldwide audience.
After seeing Dudhwa National Park, Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, and Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, the programme includes the Chambal Safari, a unique perfume-making session in Kannauj, and an excursion of Lucknow’s historical monuments.
After that, the team will go to Prayagraj to see the famous Planters Bungalow farm stay as well as the Sangam Ghat and other historical monuments. Visits to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, taking part in the Ganga Aarti, and enjoying regional food and art will round off the journey in Varanasi.
“This trip aims to familiarise foreign tour operators with key destinations, encouraging them to promote Uttar Pradesh tourism internationally, ultimately boosting foreign tourist arrivals,” said Jayveer Singh, Minister of Tourism and Culture.
