As the number of cyber crimes in India is increasing rapidly, the digital safety campaign WHT Now has taken a significant step. He has launched a National Youth Ambassador Program by partnership with universities and colleges across the country. The purpose of this initiative is to train more than 5000 students as “Digital First Responders” by the end of 2025. This program is essential, as events like sex torture, cyber buliing and online exploitation are increasing.
According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data, cyber crime in the country has increased by 24.4% and more than 65000 FIRs have been registered. According to experts, these numbers do not show the true picture, because many victims, especially women and minors, do not complain of fear, stigma in the community and lack of information.

WHT Now the founder Niti Goyal says, “This is a movement, not an initiative. We are currently watching a dangerous trend of silence against online oppression. Our goal is to enable young people on information, confidence and unity, so that they can make positive digital transformation.”
Youth ambassadors participating in this program will be provided with thorough training regarding cyber laws, reporting processes, mental treatment and digital morality. The program will include hands-on workshops, cyber security and mentoring sessions of legal experts, as well as the installation of digital safety sales on college campus.
The co-founder and legal adviser of the organization, Akshat Khekan, says, “From our experience, many victims are afraid to understand what to do. Trained ambassadors will provide them with immediate help and guidance.”

We can cross the crisis on the basis of sensitivity, united and knowledge.”
