Common public got relief! Inflation in the country at 6 -year low, Finance Ministry gave information

New Delhi : A very good news has come for the country on the inflation front. The Finance Ministry has given information about inflation that inflation in the country has come at the lowest level of 6 years. According to the data released by the Finance Ministry, the retail inflation in the country has come to the lowest level for the last 6 years to come to 3.34 percent for the last 6 years. The ministry has told the reason behind this to fulfill the demand for the Monetary Policy of RBI and the government on behalf of the government.

The Finance Ministry has said in its statement that the inflation rate is at its lowest level since FY 2018 to 19. India has not only strengthened widespread economic stability, but has maintained a sustainable development, due to which inflation can be controlled. Along with this, CPI -based retail inflation has come down to 3.34 percent in the month of March due to a fall in food prices and high base effects.

Consumer price index i.e. CPI -based inflation was at 3.61 percent in the month of February and 4.85 percent in the month of March last year. However, the inflation rate in the month of February was 3.75 percent and 8.52 percent in the month of March 2024. RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra, while announcing the decisions of the Monetary Policy Committee on this Wednesday, said that there was a decline in inflation, which has been supported due to the decrease in the prices of food items. He has said that in the financial year 2026-27, there is a even more reduction in inflation.
