There is good news for the candidates who are looking for a government job after obtaining a B.Sc Nursing degree. Bihar State Health Society (BSHS) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 4500 Community Health Officer (CHO) posts. The application process for these posts will start from May 5. Interested candidates can apply in online mode till May 26 by visiting the official website shs.bihar.gov.in.

Out of a total of 4500 posts, 979 posts are reserved for General, 245 posts for EWS, 1170 posts for EBC, 640 posts for BC, 168 posts for WBC, 1243 posts for SC, and 55 posts for ST category. Candidates can apply on or before the prescribed last date. Let us know how the applicants will be selected for CHO posts.

BSHS CHO Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Who can apply?

Candidates applying for these posts should have a certificate in community health with a CCH course or a General Nurse and Midwifery GNM with a B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree from any recognized institute. At the same time, candidates with B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with a Certificate in Community Health can also apply.

Bihar CHO Bharti 2025: What should be the age?

The age of the applicant should be between 21 to 37 years as of April 1, 2025. At the same time, candidates of women, OBC, SC, and ST categories have also been exempted from the maximum age limit as per the rules of the government.

BSHS Bihar CHO Bharti 2025: Application Fee

The application fee for the General and OBC categories has been fixed at Rs 500. At the same time, women, SC, ST, and Divyang applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs 125. Applicants from other states will have to deposit an application fee of Rs 500.
