In order to ensure a brighter future for their children, parents of special needs children have been asked by District Collector Dr S. Venkateswar to use all of the programs and assistance offered by the federal and state governments. He participated in a Monday event arranged by the Education Department and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan to provide assistive technology to kids with special needs. Approximately 3,600 pupils in the district have special needs, according to Dr. Venkateswar. The state has set up 34 “Bhavitha” special schools, at least one in each mandal, to meet their educational requirements. For kids who may not succeed in traditional schools, these institutions provide specific instruction and the tools they need thanks to their expert teaching personnel and facilities.

As part of the programme, 421 kids were given a variety of assistive equipment, such as rollators, wheelchairs, hearing aids, tricycles, and Braille kits. The Collector said that the equipment for the remaining kids would be delivered shortly. He exhorted parents to fully participate in the possibilities provided to their children and to be their pillars of support.

In line with this feeling, MLA A. Srinivasulu acknowledged the assistance of the Education Department and ALIMCO (Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India) in planning the distribution ceremony. He commended Nara Lokesh, the minister of education, for implementing important changes in the department and making inclusive education a top priority on the government’s agenda.

This time, the MLA and Collector gave the pupils their assistance devices in person. Headmistress Muni Sarada, Inclusive Education Coordinator Chandrasekhar Reddy, Deputy Education Officer Balaji, and a number of kids and their families were also in attendance.
