'I am no longer the man who…', the director of the film 'Phule' response on the Brahmin protest

The controversy continues over the film 'Phule' starring Prateek Gandhi and Patralekha. In view of the controversies, the film's director Anant Mahadevan has written a mysterious post. The directors are constantly sharing satirical posts against those who opposed the film. An organization called Brahmin Raksha Manch is opposing the film the most. The organization has also put up posters in many places calling for boycott of 'flowers'. The organization has accused the film of tarnishing the image of the Brahmins and wrongly portraying them. 'Phule' will be released in theaters on 25 April. Advance booking has started for this.

Anant Mahadevan has posted a post on his Instagram account, in which he has talked about fearlessness and courage. He has said to remain strong even while facing storms. He wrote in an instapost, “When this storm is over, I will not be the person with whom I went into it, this is the essence of this storm.” Earlier also, the director responded to those who opposed 'Phule' by sharing a photo with a cat.

Anant Mahadevan shared this photo and wrote 'Catalist' in the caption, which means a person or thing that brings changes. The film 'Phule' was first scheduled to release on April 11, but its release date was changed due to protest. The film is based on the life of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and his wife Savitribai Phule, who opposed the prevailing caste system in the early 19th century and worked for the upliftment of women.

Anurag Kashyap supported the film, Manoj Muntashir warned that

Meanwhile, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap supported the film after receiving murder and rape threats against his daughter, and warned those who opposed it. He apologized but lyricist Manoj Muntashir jumped into the controversy and warned Anurag Kashyap by making a video. Describing himself as Brahmins, he counted the names of many other great men and freedom fighters who were Brahmins.
