Top-four chasing Athletic Bilbao welcome relegation candidates Las Palmas to San Mames in La Liga on Wednesday night.
There was a late heartbreak for Bilbao away at the Bernabeu at the weekend, but most of their focus will be elsewhere for the remaining few weeks of the season.
We say: Athletic Bilbao 2-0 Las Palmas
While Valverde is evidently prioritising the Europa League, they will still be clear favourites here, and with good reason, given their excellent form at home.
Las Palmas’ final five matches after this encounter are all against teams placed 10th or lower, so defeat here should not be too damaging, as those games will define their season instead.

Champions League hopefuls Villarreal face a tricky test of their top-five credentials when they go to Balaidos to face Celta Vigo in La Liga on Wednesday.
Marcelino’s men have been handed a huge lifeline by the fact five teams from La Liga will now qualify for Europe’s top-tier competition next season, but this will be a tough assignment given Celta’s own continental ambitions.
We say: Celta Vigo 1-1 Villarreal
Celta have been one of the best clubs at home in La Liga this season, taking 30 points from 16 games at Balaidos, and they should make it equally as tough for Villarreal here as they did for Barca at the weekend.
The visitors are also in fine form though, going unbeaten across their last four games, in what should be a close encounter between two clubs chasing a return to the European stage.

Real Madrid will continue their La Liga title bid when they travel to the South of the Spanish capital for Wednesday’s meeting with Getafe at the Coliseum.
The White Are sitting in second place and four points adrift of Barcelona, while Getafe will head into the midweek fixture in 12th position.
We say: Getafe 1-2 Real Madrid
Getafe have the ability to make life difficult for Real Madrid on Wednesday, but while we think they will run Los Blancos close, we ultimately believe that the visitors’ extra quality will prove to be the difference, even if Ancelotti decides to rotate his team for the midweek fixture.

Alaves will continue their La Liga survival bid when they welcome fellow Basque side Real Sociedad to Mendizorroza on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, ninth-placed Real Sociedad are looking to secure European qualification for a sixth consecutive season.
We say: Alaves 1-1 Real Sociedad
Real Sociedad may be unbeaten in three away league games, but they have won just one of their previous eight La Liga road trips, and with that in mind, we think the visitors will have to settle for a point in Wednesday’s meeting with relegation-threatened Alaves.
