To assess the status of many departmental programs, the Bihar government called a conference. District Magistrates were directed to look into the Abhiyan Basera housing scheme’s poor land allotment.
All divisional commissioners and district magistrates participated in the video conference, which was presided over by the chief secretary. According to tax case disposal, Patna, Gaya, Lakhisarai, West Champaran, and Khagaria were ranked highest by the tax and Land Reforms Department.
The Home Department directed an investigation into people buying large amounts of ammunition and resolved outstanding issues pertaining to the Bihar Crime Control Act, weapons licence verification, and character certificate verification.
After discussing the state of caste-based census data, the General Administration Department gave eight districts instructions to correct any problems. Directives were issued to curb illicit mining in forest areas and to stop sand mining lease returns in 2025–2026.
The meeting also underlined the significance of the Helmet campaign and discussed the Chief Minister’s Gramme Parivahan Yojana, which has benefited 3664 out of 9358 applications. Additionally, 4935 applicants received compensation under the Hit and Run Compensation Scheme.
