Bihar IFS Officers Examine Kushal Yuva Karyakram, the Migrant Labour Accident Scheme, Youth Skill Development Initiatives, and More

In order to learn more about the execution of the youth skill development programme, a group of Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officials paid a visit to the Bihar Labour Resources Department on Tuesday.

The group was greeted by Special Secretary Alok Kumar and Department Secretary Deepak Anand. The team was informed by the Labour Resources Department about 16 programs that the Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board is implementing.

These programs provide workers with a range of advantages, such as accident insurance, housing, medical aid, registration, and help for their education. Additionally, the team received information regarding the Centenary Scheme, the Migrant Labour Accident Scheme, and training initiatives under the Bihar Skill Development Mission, including financial accounting, domain skilling, and the Kushal Yuva Karyakram.

Additionally, they were informed about the Centres of Excellence established at government Industrial Training Institutes with Tata Technologies’ assistance. Director of Employment and Training Sunil Kumar Yadav, Bihar Skill Development Mission Director Suresh Kumar Singh, Assistant Director Amrita Kumari, and Assistant Labour Commissioner Ganesh Jha were in attendance.
