On Wednesday, Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh gave an update on the CM Model and CM Abhyudaya Schools’ building status. In order to assist all of the nearby villages, he ordered that land for the Chief Minister Model Composite School be chosen at the Nyaya Panchayat level inside the Gramme Panchayat.
Students who arrive on foot or by bicycle may access nearby educational possibilities. Schools should be given priority on roadside land. According to the Chief Secretary, a framework for choosing principals, instructors, and kids should also be determined.
It is also necessary to make a plan for the children’s midday meal. Every school should have enough room for amenities like an outdoor gym, a racecourse, a badminton court, a volleyball court, a hockey court, an indoor play area and a yoga centre.
The implementing agencies should speed up the bidding procedure and begin building as soon as feasible once the land selection process is finished. A clause allowing for a third-party audit of building projects should also be included. It is important to note that all 75 of the state’s districts will see the construction of Chief Minister Model Composite Schools.
According to the UP Board curriculum, science, math, commerce, and the arts will be taught to students in pre-primary through class 12. The anticipated cost of civil works for each school is Rs 24.78 crore. The school, which can accommodate 1500 pupils, will be built on a five to 10 acre tract of land.
Modern computer laboratories, libraries, smart classrooms, midday food sheds, child and nutrition gardens, Wi-Fi, and CCTV security will all be included in Chief Minister Abhyudaya Composite Schools.
