In just four IPL matches, 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has experienced both the thrill of success and the sting of failure After making headlines by smashing a 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans and becoming the youngest player to score a T20 hundred, Vaibhav had a tough outing in his next game. Facing Mumbai Indians, the teenage sensation was dismissed for a two-ball duck by Deepak Chahar.

Despite the early dismissal, Vaibhav received a heartening gesture from MI’s senior player Rohit Sharma. As Vaibhav walked off the field, Rohit patted him on the back and offered words of support. Later, during the post-match handshakes, Rohit once again encouraged the young batter, reminding him that cricket is a game of ups and downs — and every failure is just a step in the learning process.

Vaibhav had made a strong debut earlier in the season against Lucknow Super Giants, where he scored a brisk 34, including a six off his very first IPL ball, bowled by Shardul Thakur. His fearless batting quickly caught the attention of fans and experts alike, establishing him as one of the most exciting young talents in Indian cricket.
