Indian rapper and lyricist Sooraj Cherukat , widely known as Hanumankind , has revealed his latest collaboration in Tamil cinema. He recently lent his voice to Thalapathy Vijay ’s upcoming movie ' Jana Nayagan ', directed by H Vinoth . This film has been making headlines for marking the final on-screen appearance of Vijay before he shifts his full attention to politics.


In a recent conversation with Ananda Vikatan, Hanumankind shared, “I have rendered a great rap song for Thalapathy Vijay in Jana Nayagan, composed by Anirudh (Ravichander).” He did not share anything further about the track’s theme and mood, but the revelation stirred social media.


Hanumankind, who shot to global fame with his 2024 single ' Big Dawgs ', has continued to build his international presence with 'Run It Up'—a track that not only went viral but also received praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for spotlighting India’s traditional martial arts in its visuals.

Hanumankind has previously contributed to film soundtracks, including Maadeva for the Kannada action film 'Popcorn Monkey Tiger' (2020) and 'The Last Dance' for Fahadh Faasil’s 'Aavesham' (2024). He is known for his independent music and performs on global stages as part of his musical tour.

He made his acting debut with the Malayalam movie 'Rifle Club' (2024), directed by Aashiq Abu. The movie also starred Vijayaraghavan, Dileesh Pothan, Anurag Kashyap and Darshana Rajendran in key roles. In the movie, he played Anurag’s character’s son. His death takes an unexpected turn in the film’s narrative and makes it more thrilling.

Meanwhile, 'Jana Nayagan' is scheduled to release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with the Pongal festivities.
