Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were recently seen attending the ongoing Waves Summit 2025 together, and their heartwarming public appearance left social media filled with joy and celebration. During the conversation, Shah Rukh took a moment to shower praise on the new mum in town and her love towards Dua Padukone Singh .

Shah Rukh said he believes Deepika’s most meaningful role is unfolding now, off-screen. “I just want to add one more thing, which is very personal, so please excuse me if I’m stepping beyond boundaries. But I think the role she’s going to play the best, Inshallah, is that of a mother now with Dua. I think she’s really going to be a wonderful mother,” he said.


His statement left Deepika happy and grateful. She looked adorable in a black and gold outfit, while Shah Rukh also looked stylish in a black formal suit set.

Deepika and Ranveer Singh welcomed their daughter, Dua, in September 2024. They had shared a glimpse of their little one’s feet on social media while revealing her official name to fans.

Mohanlal, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Hema Malini were also seen attending the summit and discussing various topics surrounding the entertainment industry.

On the work front, Deepika and Ranveer were last seen in 'Singham Again'. She will soon share screen space with Shah Rukh in 'King' and will also be a part of the much-awaited sequel to Nag Ashwin’s ' Kalki 2898 AD ', starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in lead roles.
