The building of a 100-bed Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) hospital in Chadhua village, Kudhani block, Muzaffarpur district, is now possible after a four-year delay. For the project, the federal government has received more than five acres of land from the Revenue and Land Reforms Department.
The hospital’s construction and operation will be supervised by the Union Ministry of Labor and Employment. Both ESI members and the general public will be served by the facility. On April 8, the land transfer was approved by the state cabinet.
The state government would get more than Rs two crore from the federal government in exchange for the property. Remarkably, the state administration was the one who first asked the federal government to build an ESI hospital in the district of Muzaffarpur.
Back in March 2021, the Union Ministry of Labor and Employment sought the property and approved the proposal. However, it took four years to finish the full procedure.
A 132–133 kVA power substation was to be built on more than six acres of property in Kachna Mauja, Pakribarawan block, Nawada district, according to a separate development from the Revenue and property Reforms Department. The Bihar State Transmission Company Limited has been given the land and would reimburse the government with more than Rs five crore.
