New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, is set to visit Jammu and Kashmir on April 25 to meet with individuals injured in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, as reported by Congress sources on Thursday.
During his visit, Gandhi plans to stop by the Government Medical College (GMC) in Anantnag to check on the health status of those affected.
The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when terrorists opened fire on a group of people at a meadow near Pahalgam, resulting in the deaths of at least 26 individuals, primarily tourists, along with numerous injuries.
In light of this incident, Gandhi shortened his trip to the United States to participate in a significant Congress Working Committee meeting held earlier on Thursday.
He also took part in an all-party meeting convened by the government to provide updates regarding the devastating terror attack.
