New Delhi: IDBI Bank has extended the deadline for Utsav special deposit schemes but reduced interest rates on them. The bank has set the deadline to invest in the FD scheme as April 30, 2025, but now interested investors opt for the investment schemes till June 30, 2025.
IDBI Bank is offering a 7.25 per cent interest rate to general customers on fixed deposits with a 444-day tenure, earlier it was 7.35 per cent. The senior citizens will be receiving 7.85 per cent returns, while super senior citizens (under the IDBI Chiranjeev FD) will be entitled to get from 8 per cent.
The bank has reduced the interest rate on the 555-day fixed deposit scheme. As per the revised rates, the lender is giving 7.30 per cent to general customers, while senior citizens will get 7.80 per cent , reduced from 7.90%. The super senior citizens will earn 7.95 interest, down from 8.05 per cent.
The IDBI Bank general customers opting for 700-day tenure FD plan, will be earning interest rate of 7.20 per cent while senior citizens and super senior citizens will be eligible for getting 7.50 per cent and 7.65 per cent returns.
As per the information available on IDBI website, the interest rate on Term Deposits (w.e.f. April 16, 2025) for Resident Term Deposit / NRO for deposit less than Rs 3 crore are as follows:

People planning to opt for IDBI Bank Utsav Callable FD scheme should know that the bank has discontinued tenures of 300 days and 375 days from April 16, 2025.

IDBI Chiranjeevi-Super Senior Citizen FD
The interest rates of IDBI Chiranjeevi-Super Senior Citizen FD scheme has also been revised with effect from April 16, 2025). The Super senior citizens opting for for 444 Days FD tenure will get 7.90 interest and those choosing 555 Days tenure will be eligible to get 7.95 per cent returns. The customers investing in 700 Days scheme will fetch 7.65 interest rate.
