World World: United Airlines on Thursday announced investment in a startup called Jetziro, planning to manufacture an aircraft that will have a blended wing body design, which aims to reduce fuel consumption in the sky. United Airlines said it can order 100 aircraft from Jetziro, and will also get 100 more aircraft options, provided the startups get fixed milestones such as a full-shaped demonestrator in 2027.

New players such as Jetziro industry are expecting the lack of new aircraft and efforts to reduce carbon emissions. Jetziro says its blended wing design, which is linked to wings and torso seamlessly, can reduce mile fuel consumption per passenger.

The company has already received a contract of $ 235 million from the US Air Force and was announced in March with Delta Airlines, under which the airline would help in the design and development of the aircraft.
