How many marks will be required to pass the UP Board, know
Before the release of UP Board Result 2025, every student should know what are the conditions to pass in it. What to do if you fail and after getting how many marks can you apply for rechecking. Let us tell you that to pass the 10th and 12th exams, you need a minimum of 33 percent. These 33 percent marks are necessary in every subject. That is, if you have to pass the exam, then it is necessary that you have given at least 33 percent marks in every exam. Understand it like this that you have to score 33 marks in a subject of total 100 marks. On the other hand, if it is only a theory paper, then after removing the external marks, you have to score 23 out of 70 marks, which is mandatory to pass.
This is the grading system of UP Board
To pass the UP Board, you need to get a minimum D grade in theory, which should be 33 percent or more than that. Apart from this, it is necessary to score above E grade in practical. Overall, you must score 33% marks (theory + practical) separately. In class 10th, you must score 33% in five subjects and 33% in each subject. Apart from this, almost the same rules apply in class 12th.
What to do if you fail
If you fail in the UP Board exam, then you will have to appear for the UP Board compartment exam. This exam is for those who fail in one or two subjects. This exam is usually conducted a few months after the main exam (usually in July). Apart from this, you can also fill out the revaluation form in which your marks are added again. Remember, in this process, your marks can increase or decrease.
