property Acquisition for Yamuna Expressway: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has declared their intention to buy agricultural property close to Noida International Airport for a number of projects. According to the authorities, 13,300 acres of land across the Yamuna Expressway are being considered for the projects. At YEIDA’s 84th board meeting on March 28, the decision was made to buy property in this area.
Top officials were present at the meeting, and they approved the Rs 5,000 crore plan to buy property across the Yamuna Expressway. They said that for the region’s growth, the government had to buy land straight from farmers who were prepared to sell it. The administration said that before the investor is given the site, the project would focus on constructing parks, roads, and other amenities.
According to the authorities, they have also identified the areas from where they may buy the property, and 36 villages in the Aligarh district and Gautam Budh Nagar are being considered. The site is being purchased for future usage, according to YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh.
“We are seeing a lot of interest in starting business operations near the airport from both local and foreign investors. The Times Now cited Singh as stating, “Therefore, we are looking to acquire and develop the land for future use.”
In addition to offering information, the authority said that six warehouses will be constructed as part of its plans to establish a logistics center spanning 250 acres. In addition, in an effort to create at least 10,000 job possibilities, the authority will also issue a call for bids. Additionally, YEIDA has said that if the villagers are willing to work together, they would present development initiatives.
