Applications are being accepted by the Uttar Pradesh Tax Department for the deputation posts of State Tax Officer (Mobile Squad) and Assistant Commissioner (Mobile Squad). By May 15, interested officers have until that date to apply to the Commissioner of State Tax.

Regarding the deputation of competent and experienced personnel from other agencies, the State Tax Department issued an order on Thursday. Qualified officials will be deputated from other agencies, according to M Devraj, Principal Secretary of the State Tax Department. It is being decided how many officials would be sent on deputation.

Applying officers must have a pay scale between 15600 and 39100, grade pay of Rs 5400, and pay matrix level 10 in order to be considered for the position of Assistant Commissioner (Mobile Squad). The applicant should also have no outstanding departmental disciplinary inquiries or explanations, no penalties within the last ten years, no pending investigations by the vigilance or economic offenses investigation organization, and a demonstrated record of integrity in the last five years’ confidential entries.

The salary range for the application officer for the position of State Tax Officer (Mobile Squad) should be 9300–34800, with a grade pay of Rs 4800 and a pay matrix level of 8. This role is subject to the same integrity and background check standards.
