“I hate inhumanity; my heart cries for cruelty in Pahalgam,” the actor said in an emotive Instagram post. I offer my prayers for global peace, love, and humanity.

In addition to rocking India, the April 22, 2025, Pahalgam incident has received strong worldwide criticism.

In a statement after the incident, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof expressed his deepest sympathies to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In the strongest possible words, PM Schoof denounced the “cowardly act” and reaffirmed the Netherlands’ uncompromising opposition to terrorism wherever.

A social media message from India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) repeated Schoof’s show of support for India.

Randhir Jaiswal, an MEA official, announced the discussion between the two presidents in a post on X, previously Twitter.

“In a call to PM @narendramodi, PM Dick Schoof of the Netherlands @MinPres expressed his sympathies for the horrific and inhumane cross-border terror incident in Pahalgam, India. He repudiated terrorism in all its forms and expressions and vehemently denounced the terrible conduct,” the message said.

The Ministry said that Prime Minister Modi had conveyed India’s determination to collaborate closely with the Netherlands in the continuing international war against terrorism and thanked Prime Minister Schoof for his support.

The Indian government has immediately put in place a number of security and diplomatic measures in reaction to the Pahalgam terror incident, with the goal of addressing the seriousness of the situation and bolstering national security.

Closing the Integrated Check Post (ICP) at Attari, a vital border post for commerce and transportation between India and Pakistan, was one of the most important steps the Indian government took.

India also declared that Pakistani nationals would no longer be eligible for the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme (SVES), which would allow them to return to their country within 40 hours.

Additionally, the government has cut down on the number of diplomats working at the High Commissions in Pakistan and India.

The historic 1960 Indus Waters Treaty has also been terminated by India. Despite prolonged periods of conflict, the pact has long been regarded as one of the most effective international agreements.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the country after the tragedy, promising that those behind the Pahalgam assault will suffer harsh consequences.

The Indian people were reassured by PM Modi that justice will be served promptly and without compromise.

“The terrorists responsible for this heinous attack, along with those who conspired in it, will face punishment beyond their imagination,” vowed Prime Minister Modi.

He underscored the urgency of eliminating the remaining terrorist bases and pledged that India’s unwavering resolve would shatter the foundation of those accountable.
