Ingredients

1 tbsp chickpeas
1/2 tbsp urad dal
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
3-4 cloves of garlic
1 inch piece of ginger
3-4 green chillies
A piece of tamarind
Raw coconut
Two dried red chillies
8-10 curry leaves
Coconut
Oil
Salt

Recipe

For this, first of all, add 1-2 tbsp of oil in a pan
Then add about 1 tbsp of chickpeas and half a tbsp of urad dal in the pan
Then now add half a tbsp of cumin seeds, 3-4 cloves of garlic and a 1 inch piece of ginger and fry it for a while
Now add half a chopped onion in the same pan. Fry the lentils till they turn brown
Now add a mint leaf and fry till it melts a little and when everything cools down, put it in a mixer jar
After that add half a cup of grated raw coconut, a tamarind leaf and 3-4 green chillies
Then add salt and water to taste and make a chutney
Now add 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan and add half a tbsp mustard and fry it
Now add half a tbsp urad dal and two dry red chillies. Add 8-10 curry leaves and make a nice chutney
Now add this chutney to the prepared chutney and mix
Thus your coconut mint chutney is ready, serve it with idli, dosa or any dish of your choice
