Ingredients
1 cup rose petals
Khoya (mawa)
1 cup almonds
1 cup coconut (grated)
Half cup sugar
Half cup water
1 teaspoon pure ghee
Recipe
- To make Gulab ki Barfi, first of all, break the rose petals. Then soak these petals in water for a while.
- After this, soak the coconut in hot water for about one to two hours. Then take khoya and mash it well.
- After this, put coconut and rose petals in a mixer jar and grind them coarsely. Then put 100 grams of ghee in a pan and keep it for heating.
- Now add dry fruits in it and fry till it becomes light brown. Then take out the roasted dry fruits and keep them in a vessel.
- After this, add cardamom, coconut, sugar, and khoya and fry it till it becomes light brown. Then after 5 to 10 minutes, when the sugar is mashed well, take out this mixture on a plate.
- Now put almonds on top of this mixture cut it in the shape of barfi and cool it. Now your rose barfi is ready.
