Meta, a multinational technology company is taking its smart glass to more corners of Europe. The company announced on 23 April that its AI-operated Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glass is now available in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland-to help users to be handed free from hands with voice-active meta AI.
Launch date and price
So far, Meta has not announced the official launch date or price for Ray-Ban Meta Glass in India.
New features
The new rollout has many work facilities to make everyday life easier. Meta says that users of these countries can now talk to glasses to ask questions and get immediate answers. A standing edition is a live translation tool, which is now available to more users. It supports real -time interaction in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Real-time information is coming to EU
From next week, users in all supported EU countries will be able to get real -time information by wearing only glasses about what they are looking at. Meta first brought its AI assistant to Ray-Ban Meta Glass in France, Italy, Ireland and Spain in November 2024. With this, users can ask questions with simple voice commands. So far, the facility providing information based on the facility you see was available only in the US, Canada and Australia.
Ray-Ban Meta Glass is coming to India
Meta also shared that its ray-ban Meta Smart Glass would soon be launched in India, Mexico and UAE. As part of a large software update, live translation facility is now getting global. If the language pack is already downloaded, users can interact with real -time interaction in English, French, Italian and Spanish even without internet connection.
Translation and instagram features were added
Translations are spoken vigorously through glasses, while a written transcript is pop up on a coupled phone. Just say, “Hey meta, start live translation,” and you are ready. And not only that – Meta is also involving Instagram. Soon, you will be able to send messages directly from your glasses, share photos and also make audio or video calls.
