As actors performers one invests a lot in a character. To get in the role one often needs to change their appearances attire etc. But sometimes not everyone I as comfortable as doing everything as others. In movies actors have often opened up about their comfort levels when performing an intimate scene to bold costumes. However some of the actors despite their stardom do not subscribe to the idea of doing something that puts them in a spot. This is about one actress who once wore a bikini but never again. She is considered to have gone beyond the concept of stereotypical who was supposed to be fair and fit. such industry and regressive beauty standards never bothered her and neither it stopped her career growth. Without performing scenes that make her uncomfortable or adhering to social stigmas she became a leading lady. Her name is Kajol. Kajol started her film career with the film Bekhudi in 1992. In her 32-year career Kajol has worked in more than 51 films and series. She has essayed array of characters but never has done any obscene scene. In her career she wore a bikini for the first and last time in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Baazigar in 1993. The movie one of the highest grossing films in that year. Kajol once addressed this part of her career. In Netflixs roundtable she once said “It has always been my take as an actor that I’ll not do scenes that require me to be either molested or in any which way show me in a place where I don’t want to be because I think as actors when we do a shot we’re feeling it we’re feeling it. So yes we are actors up to a point but the camera I feel is one of those things it’s like man-made magic and it tends to capture it if you’re not being honest in front of it. At times like this you need to be honest.” During the same conversation on Netflix Film Actors’ Roundtable in 2023  Do Patti actress mentioned “That’s been my thing on it that. ‘No I don’t want to do this. I don’t feel comfortable. I don’t feel comfortable when I have to act out a scene where I am being physically abused or molested.’ I have done it it’s not that I haven’t. But it’s very very very uncomfortable and very disturbing. And I don’t feel I need to do it to prove a point. I can prove my point to be a good actor in 100 different ways. I don’t need this particular experience.” Despite this Kajol broke her own rules in one of her series The Trial where she was seen kissing Alyy Khan’s character.
