NEET UG 2025 Exam: Every year more than 20 lakh candidates appear in the NEET UG exam and to get a high score in this competitive environment, the right strategy and mindset are required. If you are also appearing in the NEET UG exam and are thinking of getting a good score in this exam, then first of all read these points carefully.

Focus on high-priority subjects.
Some subjects are always more important in NEET. Prioritize your revision as follows.

Biology (360 marks): Genetic, Human Physiology, Ecology

Chemistry (180 marks): Organic Chemistry, Chemical Bonding, Coordination Compound

Physics (180 marks): Mechanics, Modern Physics, Electrodynamics

Revise wisely
80-85% of NEET questions are based on NCERT. Therefore, 90% of your revision should be focused on NCERT books, diagrams, and formulas.

Practice in the real exam environment
Students who have done at least 10 mock tests before the exam have performed 15-20% better. Therefore, you should follow the real exam conditions during the mock test.

Achieve efficiency in time management.
NEET consists of 200 questions, out of which 180 questions are required to be solved. Therefore, proper distribution of time is extremely important.
Biology (90 questions) – 50 minutes
Chemistry (50 questions) – 40 minutes
Physics (50 questions) – 50 minutes
Revision – 60 minutes
Start with your strongest subject and leave the difficult questions for later so that you can maintain your speed on time.

Maintain mental peace and have a positive attitude
Data from previous years' toppers has proved that students who maintain mental peace perform better. So, practice meditation and deep breathing to stay stress-free. Think positive thoughts. Avoid negative comparisons with other students.

Get enough sleep and a healthy diet.
When your brain is well-rested, it can retain 30% more information. So, get at least 6-7 hours of sleep and eat a light, nutritious diet. Eat brain-energizing nuts, bananas, and dark chocolate. Stay hydrated, but avoid excessive caffeine, as it can increase anxiety.
