New Delhi: Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders were forced to split points as their IPL clash was called off due to heavy rain and a thunderstorm in Kolkata. Youngsters Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh lit up Eden Gardens with explosive fifties putting on a 120-run stand for the first wicket as Punjab Kings posted a formidable 201/4 setting the stage for a thrilling Saturday clash. KKR began their chase but managed just one over scoring seven runs before a powerful thunderstorm followed by persistent rain forced the game to be abandoned.
