Muslim Cricketers:
28 people have died and many have
been injured in a horrific terrorist attack in Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir . Many Indian cricketers
have expressed their anger over this incident by posting on social media. They have strongly condemned the terrorist attack.
Some talked about religion while some called it a demonic form. So let’s know
which five cricketers have patriotism flowing in their veins.
(Cricketers) Mohammad Siraj has
shared a tribute photo of Home Minister Amit Shah on his Instagram account. He wrote, ”
Just read about the horrific and shocking terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
Targeting and killing innocent civilians in the name of religion is utter
evil. No cause, no belief, no ideology
can ever justify such a monstrous act. What kind of war is this? Where human
life has no value.”
He further wrote, “I can’t even imagine what pain and
trauma the families must be going through. May God
give the families the strength to overcome this unbearable grief.” We are very sorry for your loss. I hope this
madness will end soon and these terrorists
will be found and punished without any mercy.”
“Tourists come to find beauty and peace, not terror.
The attack in Pahalgam is heartbreaking and inhuman. We
stand in grief and solidarity with the victims and their families,” Shami wrote on Instagram Story along with a photo with the caption ‘All eyes on Pahalgam’.
Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan wrote an emotional post saying that
just a few days ago when he was in Jammu and Kashmir, a saddened Mohammad Siraj had said
that killing in the name of religion is not right. He further wrote that
whenever an innocent person loses his life, humanity loses.
Seeing and hearing what happened in Kashmir today is heart wrenching. I
went there a few days ago. I feel this pain very closely.
