A hilarious clip from a cricket match has become a hit on social media. In the video, a team of young cricketers began dancing Bhangra even before running out a batsman. The clip has registered thousands of hits in just a few hours and is widely being shared online. This happened during an Under-16 match held by the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) in India. The two teams between whom the match wash played were Una and Bilaspur.

In the game, Una's team was batting and had reached 116 runs for three wickets. Two batsmen, Vaibhav Sharma and Sameer Singh Chauhan, were on the field. In one of the deliveries bowled by spinner Prince Surender Thakur, Vaibhav, the batsman on strike, played a shot in the direction of the off-side. Both the batsmen easily took one run. Seeing a misfield, they attempted a second run.

But during the second run, Vaibhav stopped midway after taking a couple of steps and declined the run. But Sameer, who was at the non-striker's end, had already begun to run to the opposite end. This left everyone confused, and both batsmen were now at the same end of the pitch.

The field throw went directly to the wicketkeeper. Looking for the opportunity to run out Sameer, the wicketkeeper and his team-mates thought of having some fun. Before pulling off the bails, the wicketkeeper and some fielders around him began dancing Bhangra on the ground. Some other fielders also joined them. They danced and giggled for a couple of seconds before ultimately knocking off the stumps to effect the run-out.

At the same time, Sameer and Vaibhav had a brief conversation, visibly agitated over the miscommunication between them. Once Sameer was given out, he walked back to the pavilion slowly. The clip of this humorous incident has become a hit with enthusiasts and depicts the lighter, happier aspect of the game.
