On May 1, before the All India release of the Hit: The Third Case, recently, the heroine Srinidhi Shetty shared information about the film and her role in a press meet.

Talking about her character, Srinidhi said, “I am playing the role of Mridula, who is an independent character with many layers. The Arjuna Sarkar played by Nani is violent and fierce, but when it comes to Mridula, she is very protective. You will understand the importance of Mridula only after watching the film.”

When asked about the importance of his role, he said, “In the investigation crime thriller, the heroines usually have limited scope. But director Salesh Kolanu has beautifully introduced the heroine's role in the story. In Hit 3, my character has a deep connection with the plot.”

Regarding working with Nani, he said, “He is a very ground and natural artist. He made me feel very comfortable on the set and it is reflected in my performance.”

Srinidhi also told that he has dubbed for himself in Telugu. “Although initially a dubbing artist recording me, I requested the director to let me try. He liked my voice and I loved him to get his voice in his first Telugu film.”

Talking about the style of the film, he said, “Hit 3 also has violence, like my previous films like KGF. As dialogue says, 'I don't like violence, but violence likes me' (laughing).”

Praising the technical team, he said, “Mickey J. Mayor's music is thrilling, the scenes of Shanugaru are spectacular and are at the top rank of technical standard.”

On his alleged casting in KGF 3 and Ramayana, Srinidhi clarified, “I auditioned for Sita's role, but not selected. The final decision was with the filmmakers.”
