8,516 Candidates Shortlisted for SSB Interview Stage
New Delhi, April 29 — The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the UPSC CDS (I) Result 2025 for the Combined Defence Services Examination (I). Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their qualifying status on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
According to UPSC’s official release, a total of 8,516 candidates have cleared the written examination and have been shortlisted for the next phase — the Service Selection Board (SSB) Interviews.
Courses Offered Through UPSC CDS (I) 2025The shortlisted candidates will be considered for admission into the following prestigious defense courses:
Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun 160th (DE) Course starting January 2026
Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala Course starting January 2026
Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (219 F(P)) starting January 2026
Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai 123rd SSC (Men) (Non-Technical) Course commencing April 2026
Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai 37th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing April 2026
Candidates must submit their original documents supporting age, educational qualifications, and NCC (C) certificates to their respective military branch headquarters according to their course preferences.
Important Document Submission DeadlinesIMA/INA candidates: Submit documents by January 1, 2026
AFA candidates: Submit documents by November 13, 2025
OTA candidates: Submit documents by April 1, 2026
Candidates must not send original certificates to UPSC. Documents should be sent to the respective military offices:
IMA/SSC (Men/Women): IHQ of MoD (Army), Directorate General of Recruiting, New Delhi
INA: IHQ of MoD (Navy), DMPR (OI & R Section), New Delhi
AFA: PO3 (A), Air Headquarters ‘J’ Block, Opposite Vayu Bhawan, New Delhi
Candidates who opted for IMA/OTA as their first choice must register at to receive SSB interview details. Those already registered need not register again.
The marksheets of non-qualified candidates will be made available on the UPSC website within 15 days after the final OTA results are declared post-SSB interviews. These will remain accessible for 30 days.

Open the PDF containing the list of qualified candidates.
Press Ctrl + F (Windows) or Command + F (Mac) and search for your roll number or name.
Download and save the result PDF for future reference.
