Samantha Ruth Prabhu one of South India’s most beloved actresses now has a temple dedicated to her, thanks to a devoted fan in Andhra Pradesh. On her 38th birthday, fan Sandeep unveiled a small shrine in Alapadu village, complete with a life-sized statue and daily puja offerings. The inauguration not only celebrated Samantha’s work but also brought together dozens of local children for cake-cutting and a community feast.

A Fan’s Devotion: Building the Shrine
In the days leading up to April 28, Sandeep quietly commissioned local craftsmen to sculpt Samantha’s likeness and erect a modest temple structure. He chose hand-carved stone to reflect traditional South Indian temple architecture and installed the statue at its altar. With the temple consecrated on Samantha’s birthday, Sandeep led villagers in an inaugural aarti and shared, “Her performances and philanthropic spirit inspired me to create this space of reverence and hope.”

Community Celebration and Charitable Drive
Alongside the temple opening, Sandeep hosted a birthday celebration for village children, cutting a cake in Samantha’s honor and distributing sweets. He also organized a food-donation drive, providing staples to dozens of underprivileged families in Bapatla district. Local elders praised the event as an uplifting morale booster and noted that such gatherings strengthen communal bonds.
