Mumbai: Manoj Bajpayee, a recipient of the National Award, expressed his sorrow upon hearing about the passing of his co-star Rohit Basfore from Family Man 3. Basfore was discovered deceased near the Garbhanga Waterfalls in Guwahati on Sunday.
Manoj shared his condolences on X, previously known as Twitter, stating: “May God bless your soul with peace Rohit Basfore!! Gone too soon! Our condolences to the family!! Om shanti.”
Reports indicate that Basfore's death was due to drowning, although the police are still waiting for the autopsy results. His family, however, has raised concerns about potential foul play.
According to police sources, Rohit was on a picnic with nine colleagues when he allegedly fell into the waterfall around 2 PM, as confirmed by officials from the Rani Police Outpost.
Initial investigations suggest that Basfore may have accidentally fallen into the water. Authorities have stated that, at this point, there is no suspicion of foul play, and his body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
