Keeping your clean can seem like a never-ending chore. If you like to every day, then you'll know the struggles of maintaining that cleanliness, especially when it comes to your cupboards and drawers.

Greasy, oily fingerprints or dirt can often show up on these surfaces, no matter how much you wipe them clean. And if they're left to sit for a while, the problem is made even more difficult. However, one cleaning pro on says you can get rid of them without any scrubbing at all - and all you need is two very simple ingredients.

Lifestyle influencer and mum , also known as @mama_mila_ on the video-sharing app, says you can banish grease stains for good with her simple method.

There are no pricey cleaning ingredients involved, and you've probably got everything you need at home already. Chantel recently shared a video detailing exactly what to do, with one person in the comments hailing it as a 'game-changer'.

Writing in the caption, she said: "Say goodbye to tough grease on your kitchen cabinets. This mix cuts through grime and leaves your kitchen cabinets looking new again."

How to clean kitchen cabinets

If you want to put this hack to use, all you need to do is mix one quarter of a cup of baking soda with one teaspoon of lemon juice and a cup of water too, combining it all to form a paste.

The baking soda is 'powerful' at removing grease without the need for scrubbing, whilst the citric acid in the lemon juice helps to cut through grime, leaving a fresh scent behind.

Then, simply use a cloth to apply the cleaning paste all over your kitchen cabinets, extractor fans or anywhere else that often gets messy. Leave it to rest for five minutes to allow the 'powerful' mixture to get to work and banish those stubborn stains.

Once the time is up, grab a clean cloth and wipe clean with warm water to reveal your 'shiny new cabinets'.

This trick should work on any laminated or painted wood cabinets, but depending on the kind you have, then it might be safer to use a more gentle cleaner - and avoid using too much water.
