Key Details About OJEE 2025

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) for 2025 is set to take place from May 2 to May 12 throughout the state, as announced by officials on Monday.

The exam will be held in a computer-based format across three shifts daily: the first from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the second from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and the last from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The BPharm exams will occur during all shifts on the first day.

In addition to BPharm, the entrance test will also include lateral entry (LE) for Pharm, LE Tech, MTech, Integrated MBA, MCA, BCAT (focusing on cinematography and sound recording and design), BPlan, and LE Tech (diploma). Nursing course examinations are scheduled for May 10 and 11.

Candidates can start downloading their admit cards from the official OJEE website on April 25. Those taking the LE Tech exam on May 12 will be able to access their hall tickets after 5 PM on April 26.

A significant change this year is the inclusion of nursing courses in the OJEE for the first time. Previously, nursing admissions were managed separately by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET). This integration was recommended by the DMET, according to officials.

Approximately 92,000 candidates have registered for this year's entrance test, marking an increase of about 26,000 from 2024. Among these, around 20,000 students are anticipated to participate in the basic BSc nursing examination.

The OJEE committee has made it clear that only those who qualify through OJEE-2025 will be eligible for admission to the basic BSc nursing course in Odisha. Candidates who have qualified through NEET will not be considered for this program in the state.
