Like the senior men's team, India's Under-19 cricket team will also go to England this year for a full tour. While the senior team will take on a five-match Test series against England from June 20 in Leeds, the U-19 side will have five one-day internationals and two unofficial Tests.
According to a report by Times of India on Tuesday, April 29, some of the young IPL 2025 players, such as 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi and 17-year-old , may be added to the U-19 team. The tour will prepare the team for the U-19 World Cup, which will take place next year in Zimbabwe and Namibia.
TOI quoted a BCCI source saying:
"The India Under-19 boys will tour England this summer. The team will reach the UK on June 21."
Suryavanshi and Mhatre had previously played for the India U-19 team in the U-19 Asia Cup in December of last year, where both performed well with the bat.
