The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has given its nod for the formation of a committee of executives to manage in the interim absence of its Chief Executive Officer, the bank said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday.

As per the notification, senior executives Soumitra Sen and Anil Rao have been appointed to oversee the bank's operations under the supervision of the board-led committee.
