Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification to fill the vacant posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical). According to the notification, the application process for this recruitment will start tomorrow i.e. 30th April. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility for this recruitment will be able to fill out the form by visiting the official website of BPSC bpsc.bih.nic.in. Along with this, as soon as the application starts tomorrow, a direct link to the application will also be made available on this page from where you can fill out the form.

The candidate should have passed an Engineering Degree/ BE/ BTech in the relevant field from a recognized university/ institute. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years. The maximum age has been fixed at 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. Upper age relaxation will be given to the candidates of reserved category as per rules. Age will be calculated keeping in mind 1st August 2024.

A total of 1024 vacant posts will be recruited through this recruitment. The recruitment details as per the post are as follows-
Assistant Engineer Civil: 984 posts
Assistant Engineer Mechanical: 36 posts
Assistant Engineer Electrical: 04 posts

Application Fee

Along with filling the application form for this recruitment, candidates from General, OBC, and other states will have to deposit Rs 750 as a fee. The application fee for SC, ST, and female candidates of all categories has been fixed at Rs 200.

Now you have to register by clicking on the online registration link first on the new portal.

After registration, the candidates should complete the application process by filling in other details.

A written exam will be conducted to get selected in this recruitment. The exam date will be announced later. Keep in mind that only those candidates will be able to participate in the recruitment exam who will pay the application fee and fill the form within the prescribed dates.
