Taking another big step in the world of technology, Meta has launched its new AI chatbot app, Meta AI. This app is now directly competing with OpenAI's popular AI chatbot ChatGPT. But the special thing is that Meta has launched it not just as an AI chatbot, but with a social touch.
What is the Meta AI app and why is it special?
Meta AI is such a smart chatbot app that understands your words and answers accordingly. You can talk to it in text as well as voice. In simple words, in the coming time, it will work like your personal AI assistant, which not only answers you but gradually starts understanding you and giving better answers.
Talking about this app, Meta said, 'Meta AI has been designed in such a way that it can know you, so that the answers to your questions are more helpful, and it is so easy that you can talk to it comfortably as if you are talking to a friend.'
Now your friends will be able to see the conversations made with AI!
The most interesting thing about Meta AI is its 'Discover Feed' feature. In this, you can see what your friends are asking AI and how funny answers are being received. Like a user asks AI, 'Tell me in 3 emojis what kind of person I am' and then shares it with his friends.
Meta has told that none of your conversations will be shared unless you yourself want. But if you want, you can show creativity by sharing your AI chats with others and can see others'.
Voice mode makes conversation even easier
A new voice mode has now been added to Meta AI. Now you can ask questions by speaking and AI will also answer by speaking. For this, Meta has introduced a new technology called full-duplex speech, which makes talking sound more natural, as if you are talking to a human.
At present, this voice feature is available only in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Some technical problems may also arise as this feature is still in testing.
Meta AI will also work with Ray-Ban smart glasses
Meta has recently launched Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and is now preparing to bring them to India. This app will now also be integrated with Ray-Ban glasses, so that you can talk to AI even while wearing glasses. However, this feature has been started only in a few selected countries.
