A dramatic and chaotic scene unfolded in the Family Court premises of Datia, Madhya Pradesh, when a man's first and fourth wives clashed violently over a long-standing alimony dispute.

The altercation, which took place right outside the courtroom, escalated into a physical fight, with the women dragging each other by the hair and exchanging blows. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media, drawing widespread attention.

The man at the center of the controversy, Hayatullah Khan from Jhansi, is a railway employee who has reportedly married four times. His first wife, Rajda Khan, had filed a maintenance petition against him after he abandoned her and their child. Despite a court order issued in 2019 mandating him to pay ₹4,000 per month—later raised to ₹5,000—Hayatullah failed to pay a single rupee, prompting further legal action.

On Tuesday, the Family Court ruled that Hayatullah must pay a lump sum of ₹3.19 lakh in overdue alimony or face jail time. Emotions ran high following the judgment. Rajda, present in court for the verdict, encountered Hayatullah's fourth wife and sister in the court premises. Tensions flared, leading to a heated verbal exchange that quickly turned physical.

The brawl caused commotion in the courtroom, forcing police personnel and lawyers to intervene and separate the women. Advocate Wajid Ali Bukhari confirmed that the altercation began after Rajda was attacked by Hayatullah's fourth wife and her sister. A police case has now been registered against both women for assault.

This incident highlights the emotional and social complications that arise in polygamous relationships, especially when legal and financial disputes are involved. The court proceedings in the case are ongoing.
