Re-examination Announcement for Anthropology Papers

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced that it will re-administer the Anthropology optional Papers I and II for the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Main Written Examination 2023 due to significant errors identified during the initial tests conducted on April 27.

The rescheduled examination for these Anthropology papers is set for May 14 (Wednesday), aiming to provide a fair chance to all affected candidates, as stated by the OPSC.

The decision to re-conduct the tests comes after the commission received complaints regarding the mix-up of questions between Anthropology Papers I and II during the April 27 examination. The OPSC has taken these grievances into account.

Paper-I will take place from 9 AM to noon, while Paper II is scheduled from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Candidates with disabilities will receive an extra hour for each paper, according to the commission's guidelines.

The examination held on April 27, 2025, is now considered void, and the answer sheets from that date will not be assessed.

Candidates can download their admission certificates starting May 8, 2025.
