Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident reported on Wednesday, a man was allegedly killed by his younger brother in the Santipalli slum area of Bhubaneswar, according to police authorities.

The victim has been identified as Hamidul Khan, who was the elder sibling of the accused, Imat Khan, as stated by a police officer.

The altercation between the two brothers occurred over a minor issue on Tuesday, resulting in a head injury to Hamidul.

On Wednesday, Hamidul experienced severe headaches and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police confirmed.

The Shaheed Nagar police have apprehended the primary suspect, and an investigation is currently ongoing, the officer added.
