A shocking clip of a double-decker bus ablaze has been posted online. The short video shows the bus next to the busy North Circular A406 at New Southgate in North , burning at the side of the road whilst plumes of smoke billow into the air. are erupting from the rear of the vehicle.
One user of X, , shared the dramatic clip, commenting: "Double Decker bus on fire with blazing flames, near Colney Hatch Lane, N10." Another shared a picture of the bus at 7.31pm, adding: "Suggest colleagues avoid the North Circular eastbound at Friern Barnet.

A London Fire Brigade spokeswoman said: "Firefighters were called to a bus alight on Atlas Road in New Southgate this evening.
"Most of the double-decker bus was damaged by fire.
"One man left the bus before the Brigade arrived.
"There were no reports of any injuries."
Atlas Road is a small road directly next to the A406, which straddles north London.
The Brigade's Control Officers took the first of eight calls to the fire at 7.27pm and the fire was under control by 8.03pm, the spokeswoman said.
Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Finchley and Hornsey fire stations attended the scene.
A TfL spokesperson said: "A bus fire occurred on the A406 Pinkham Way, thankfully the bus was not in service at the time and there were no passengers on board with no injuries reported.
"We are working with the fire brigade and the bus operator, Arriva London, to establish what happened."
