The rankings were based on a global survey which gathered responses from over 13 million airport users across more than 100 countries between August 2024 and February 2025.

Taiwan Taoyuan airport has been working closely with airlines and ground handling companies to improve services since the Covid pandemic, Taipei Times reported.

Skytrax chief executive officer Edward Plaisted praised the airport for “demonstrating a strong commitment to operational efficiency and service quality.”

Those awards “highlight (Taoyuan airport’s) efforts and achievements in enhancing the overall passenger experience,” Plaisted said.

Located in Dayuan District, about 40 km (25 miles) west of Taipei, the airport is the busiest and largest in Taiwan.
