In a recent announcement England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) pointed out that 2026 Women's T20 World Cup Will be held in England. This is a special occasion because England will again host the Women's T20 World Cup after a long time. Earlier in 2017, England hosted the Women's 50 -over World Cup, in which England won the title by defeating India in the final.

ECB revealed the venue of 2026 Women's T20 World Cup final

The ECB has announced that the final match of the 2026 Women's T20 World Cup will be played at the famous Lord's Cricket Ground. This is not the first time Lords has been selected to host an ICC final. Earlier in 2017, when England hosted the Women's ODI World Cup, the final was still held at Lord's. Similarly, the Men's ODI World Cup final was also played here in 2019. The special thing is that both times England won the title.

2026 Women's T20 World Cup will host seven English sites

In addition to Lords for the 2026 Women's T20 World Cup, six more stadiums have been selected to host matches. These include Old Trafford, Handingley, Edgbaston, Ages Bowl, The Oval and Bristol County Ground. 12 teams will participate in this tournament and it will start from June 12 and end with the final on 5 July. 30 group stage matches will be played during the tournament, in which teams will be divided into two groups and each group will have 6 teams.

ICC chairman Jai Shah Expressing confidence in England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), he said that he would organize this tournament in a brilliant way. He said that this tournament will be the celebration of the world's best women players, who will show their skills, hard work and sportsmanship towards sports.

Jai Shah said that the United Kingdom has always been showing tremendous support for all teams. She reminded that the Women's World Cup final played at Lord's in 2017 was completely sold and it was a historic moment in the development of women's cricket. Shah said that the Lord's cannot be better than Lord's for the final.
